In Loving Memory
9/12/1953 – 11/25/2024
Age 70
Sherry Lorraine Elias Lagana, 70, of Sylmar, California passed from the cares of this life into the glory of Heaven on Saturday November 25, 2023.
Sherry was born September 12, 1953, in Los Angeles, California to Bob Elias and Juliet (Perea) Elias. She was the first girl after three successive boys. She attended Bell Gardens Jr. High and Bell Gardens High Schools. Music and dancing were her great joys in life. She was married on November 21, 1995, to Ross Lagana III, at Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived in Long Beach and North Hollywood, California, raising two children together, until he passed in 2001. She had compassion and a listening ear to those most in need. She was a homemaker, great cook and loving mother.
Sherry loved to laugh about things in life and all the peculiar people she encountered along the way. Her road was not easy, but through the grace of God and the love of her family, she always found a way to rise above it all. She didn’t wear her faith on her sleeve, but she did possess a unique faith in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. She was a fighter and a survivor. Until then sister, we know you are present with the Lord and home at last!
